1974 Triumph TR-6!!! Here is a gorgeous 1974 Triumph TR-6 finished in the factory Triumph Carmine Red over a Honey Tan interior!!! This is a great looking car but it is also a great driving car. The engine was rebuilt about 12k miles and the great sounding inline 6 cylinder engine sounds great and provides plenty of power. The engine is smooth running, has great oil pressure and runs nice and cool. The TR-6 is one of the most coveted affordable classic British sports cars and with the top down on a spring day its easy to understand why. This is a solid TR-6 that is in very good shape and is surely to make its new owner happy! Click to enlarge Exterior: The Classic Carmine red paint on this classic looks great for its age. The paint job is probably about 6 years old or so and is of nice driver quality. As you can see from the photos though it does look quite good when it is cleaned up. The chrome is in nice shape. I would venture to say that they bumpers are original and the both bumpers are very straight and free of pitting however there is a spot on the front bumper where you can see the chrome fading a touch. The convertible top is new and is in perfect shape. it also comes with a nice "boot" cover as well that finishes the car off nicely when the convertible top is down. Overall this is a very good looking looking TR-6!!! Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful "Honey Tan" interior is in excellent shape. The seats look gorgeous contrasting with the red exterior. The seat upholster is all free of rips, tears and stains. Really the seats dont show any wear. The door panels are also in nice shape. All of the gauges on the car work as do all of the lights. The radio also is functioning and music can be heard from two 6x9 speakers that are easily removable located behind the seats. Overall the interior of this classic is in very nice shape. Click to enlarge Engine: This classic 1974 Triumph TR-6 features a great sounding inline 6 engine that runs great! The car starts right up and runs like a top without blowing any smoke!!! The engine runs beautifully without skipping a beat and emits that great British sports car sound. The suspension and steering is very tight and feels great going down the freeway or carving corners. The clutch pedal feels great and the brake pedal is firm and very responsive. The 4-speed transmission shifts perfectly in and out of gear with out grinding. This is a very smooth driving car that drives beautifully. This is a fun car to cruise and enjoy classic British motoring.
