You're viewing my 1982 CJ5 Laredo. This Jeep is a rust free, solid vehicle. I have the original under the dash air conditioning unit but it is not installed. Straight 6, 4 speed that runs great. Here are a few things that have recently been done: New brakes (disc on front, drum on back), new master cylinder, carb rebuild, new seals in the power steering box, New Shift Kit, brand new Bestop Supertop and doors (would consider lower offer without the top... they're expensive). I also have two bikini tops that go with it as well. The rear seat pictured is the original seat that needs cleaning but has no rips or tears. Here's what needs to be dealt with: Front differential isn't holding dope and it needs to be rebuilt. 4 wheel drive does work but I would not use it as it is. The fuel gauge doesn't work (common to these older jeeps) but I have a new sending unit that goes with it as well...that'll probably fix it. The synchronizer is off a bit when down shifting into 2nd but shifts great through the gears... Clutch is good. Wheels are 33X10 Super Swampers. I would replace these. With the size of wheels and tires it doesn't have a lot of pep in 4th gear. It starts and runs great, doesn't smoke or use any oil. According to the owner I bought it from the engine had been rebuilt not that long ago. Also, I have no way of knowing if the mileage is accurate or not.
