I decided to remove the buy it now from this listing since I will not be around to complete transaction or answer email anyway. SORRY for this change but we had something come up that is outside of our control and family comes first. For your consideration is our great little GEO Tracker 4x4 with automatic transmission and low mileage. Due to recent changes in our lives, we have decided to sell this versatile little vehicle. To our knowledge, it has been adult owned and primarily driven around town for local errands. We bought it about 3 years ago and I have kept it at my parents so that when my husband dropped me off for a weekend, I have my own vehicle to run around in. My parents are now moving out of state & downsizing, therefore I no longer need this vehicle. I bought it from a family friend that purchased it from a local used car lot when it was less than a year old. (So I know the history of this vehicle for most of its life but don't know anything about the first owner. The friend (our local mailman) that I bought it from knew the car lot owner very well and was told the original owner decided shortly after buying it that it was just too small for him.) We recently took it for the annual State Inspection thinking we would sell it with new inspection on it. Our mechanic did the emissions inspection and new sticker is installed, but when he was checking it over for the State inspection he found that it had an exhaust leak and told us the front exhaust pipe would need replaced for him to pass it. We decided before spending money on repairs and then passing that cost along in our asking price, we'd sell it as-is (needing the exhaust fixed). It isn't noisy, so we didn't realize that there was any exhaust issue with it. The only other issue my mechanic found was one worn right front brake line. We have the repair order indicating his findings and will gladly pass that paperwork on to the next owner. We figured we would list the Tracker for 1 week here on eBay and give someone that's handy a chance to save some money. If it doesn't sell, we'll go ahead and get the repairs done and then list it again but at a higher price. Several people have emailed and asked about A/C and overdrive. This Tracker does not have A/C or overdrive - just a normal 4x4 with automatic trans & high low transfer case. Another question that keep coming up is - base model or LS1 - this tracker is the base model with just heat & AM/FM radio. The only other options it has are power steering, body side moldings, and full size spare tire with cover according to the options list on the window sticker. CONDITION: Mechanically this vehicle is in great overall condition. It drives well, always starts, has good tires, good brakes, new muffler & tailpipe last year for inspection, and has never given us any problems whatsoever. It does drip a little oil as you would expect for a vehicle of this age, but there are no major oil leaks or anything worth fixing as far as that goes. Like I said above, the only 2 known issues are the right front brake line and the front exhaust pipe. Cosmetically, the exterior is a nice metallic black that should polish up very nicely. It is totally rust free and had Zebart (might have that spelled wrong) coating when new. We gave it a bath last week but the weather here in PA has not been nice enough to give it a coat of polish. The vinyl top is in nice shape with no tears or worn spots and I would call it in great overall condition except for a couple of pieces of velcro on the rear corners by the rear plastic window don't hold. This doesn't present any real issue-- the corners just hang out a little as you can see in the photos. To our knowledge this vehicle has never been in any type of accident or even fender bender, but it does have a little ding on the driver's side rear fender just below the marker light. It looks like somebody hit it with a baseball bat or something but previous owner said something fell over and bumped into it in his garage shortly after he bought it. Which reminds me, it was garage kept up until we bought it 3 years ago. Cosmetically, the interior is nice overall except for the driver's side front seat (as seen in photos). The carpet and the rest of its interior could use some cleaning, but there are no real bad wear spots or stains. As you can see, the seats are gray cloth and vinyl. The dash, gauges, etc. are all in nice shape and everything works to our knowledge. The undercarriage and under the hood have what I would call typical dirt and typical minor rust - no rot just surface rust. For some reason, the previous owner put a trailer hitch on it and that hitch is rusty like it had bad paint on it or something. You can see the trailer hitch in some of the photos. We were going to clean it up some day and paint it, but never got around to it. I know the previous owner pulled a little utility trailer around town a few times a year when he did his yard work and stuff, but how much can you expect a little Tracker to pull. We have the original window sticker from when this Tracker was new as well as the original maintenance manual and a small warranty booklet that came with it when new. We also have some paperwork of the repairs from previous owner as well as some from the few repairs we have had done. We would prefer a local sale, but we are willing to work with anyone who may be interested in this vehicle. $100 Deposit via Paypal within 3 days of auction end and the balance paid in CASH upon pick-up. Please do not pay in full with Paypal -- it will cost too much in fees. If you intend to pick vehicle up shortly after the auction ends and communicate with us, there is no need for the deposit.
