Nice 2001 DRZ-400 in great condition. Aquired in a trade deal last year and it's a little too tall for my wife. I rode it a few times and put around 250 miles on it last summer. It starts first crank, idles nice, it's a thumper. I already have a dual purpose KTM so I have to sell this one. Purchased from original adult owner who rode the bike to work and back in the summer. Always garaged and meticulously maintained. The bike has the original tires on it that would get you by for a while. They have no weather checking or dry rot. I was going to put knobbies on it this summer, I have reduced the reserve for a tire allowance on the price, and the reserve is lower than comparable models. Rear fender and signals removed and modified for a sleeker look. Pouch on rear fender with tool kit and a place to keep insurance and registration. The small sprocket was replaced early on to give a better street performance. I rode it 65 miles round trip to work last summer and it pulls the steepest grade at 65 to 70 mph with minimal effort in high gear, with 50+ mpg fuel mileage. All original paperwork, manuals, extra parts, new battery, two new pairs of clutch and brake levers, 5 quarts engine oil, with a like new pair of AlpinStar size 11 boots that came with the trade. The only thing that is wrong with the bike is one of the keys is broke off in the steering lock. Currently in the unlocked position. The bike has a some scratches and dings, but the paint looks good and is not faded. If this bike is right for you here is a great chance to get a good bike for a good deal!
