2002 SLK32 Low Mileage Super Car Research 2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class A rare, 2002 Mercedes SLK32 Coupe with only 62k miles!! There is probably only a hand full of these cars left in the country with this kind of mileage. This car had a $57,050 sticker price when new. The car drives like a cream puff, super smooth and quite but with surprising power and unbelievable handling. Original paint, (The marks you see on the hood… look close… are birds flying overhead as I snapped the picture. Should tell you the condition of the paint !!) Garage keep, never wrecked in fantastic original condition with a few minor nicks. The photos speak for the overall condition of the car, you will not be disappointed. I have owned this car for almost two years. Taking a look at my “old muscle” cars (attached) will tell you how meticulous I am with all my toys. I am a Car Guy !! This car has the hard to find Polished AMG Alloy Wheels, you won’t find them on the next one you look at and they really set the car off !! The AMG transmission has a Speed-shift transmission which allows you to manually shift gears instantly with a tap left or right on the shift knob (however, this transmission, according to Mercedes Benz, shifts faster then is humanly possible), rear-wheel drive, hard-top convertible which goes completely up and down when you hold a button (takes approx. 13 seconds), Traction Control, Stability control, Antilock Brakes , Front and Rear Anti Sway Bars, New tires. Mercedes Benz's AMG produced 9000 SLK 32 AMG's total worldwide, and only about 4,200 were shipped to the United States. As of 2004, Mercedes Benz no longer makes the 32 AMG. While they were producing them, they had a policy; "One man, one engine". The "one man engineer" that built this exact car's engine and transmission, stamped his personal signature underneath the AMG cover. The results is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds, Supercharged 3.2L V6 with 349 HP. That's 7.2 lbs per 1 HP. 18 mpg city, 24 mpg hwy. This car will flat out embarrass a Mustang GT!! With all that power I had to try it once. She pulled hard & quick to 145 MPH before I realized it and was pulling like no tomorrow when I shut her down. The giant brakes slowed her down to 65 MPH so fast & smooth it gave me a real feel of security. So what is top-in ?? Don’t know, but 145 was all I was prepared to do and she felt like there was 20 + MPH left. This is probably one of the nicest all-around cars that I have ever owned and I‘ve owned many. On the road, this car has a perfect balance of performance, luxury, and smoothness. Whether you desire a reliable and trustworthy everyday car, or a fast and elegant performance machine, the SLK 32 AMG delivers. Truly breathtaking and a chick magnet… oh..
