1978 Pro-Street El Camino – Complete off-chassis restoration on this beautiful, one of a kind amazing hot rod. Beautiful paint job! Lots of tender loving care has been put into the restoration of this vehicle by this owner. Nothing but the best parts and materials have gone into its restoration. Specifics outlined below. Please feel free to contact seller with any questions. Paint: House of Kolor – Kandy Brandywine. Custom paint approximately 8 years old. Looks great! Engine: Small block 4-bolt main GM Block; 383 CI – Callies Steel Crank, Manley Rods, Venolia pistons, Isky .600 lift solid lifter roller cam and lifters, steel heads (after market), Manley stainless valves, comp springs retainers. Complete T&D shaft rocker arms. Induction: BDS 871 blower, 2 Holley 750 carbs, double pump. Cooling System: Gibson aluminum radiator with two 12 inch (approximate) Spal electric fans, Meziere electric water pump. Transmission: Rebuilt Turbo 350 – good high performance parts with B&M 2500 converter with deep aluminum pan, 3 quarts extra. Differential: Ford 9” 4:56 ratio. Richmond Gears – Detroit Locker. Chassis: Stock with back half back roll cage; 4 link system. Tubbed for 18” wide rear tires. Suspension: Coil over rears; front – Eibach coils (adjustable) with QA1 shocks. Brakes: 4-Wheel manual discs with fronts being General Motors and rear being 4 piston Aerospace. Exhaust: 2” headers – Stahl 3-1/2 exhaust to rear; exits in front of tires under rocker. Interior: Two-tone tan vinyl (leather-look) with wheel tubs and door panels in same, tan carpet in bed and cab. Great condition! Wheels: Weld aluminum, 3-1/2” - 4” W x 15” front and 13” W x 15” rear. Tires: Mickey Thompson. Front: 26” x 7-1/2” x 15”; Rear 31” x 16-1/2” x 15”, M/T Sportsman Pro. Overview: Engine, transmission and differential has approximately 3,000 miles, all street – no track time. Car is driven to local shows and car outings only. Body is straight, no known rust, all steel except hood and deck lid which is fiberglass. Only one ding on car, approximately the size of a dime, lower quarter panel, passenger side. Vehicle has clear title and VIN number. No warranty exists, sold as is.
