Vehicle Detail
1971 Honda cb750k1. The bike runs and drives great Carbs cleaned and synchronized, valves adjusted, oil changed, all in the last few days. The bike seems to be mostly original tank is clean and not coated on the inside, the paint is ok minus the brake fluid that went down the one side prior to me owning. No major dents or dings that I can see, a few little wear marks from normal use. The side cover over the oil take looks to be perfect all tabs and no cracks, the other side cover has one small crack and a broken bottom tab, paint on both covers is very good. The chrome is good for the year of the bike some small pitting and scratches but nothing major. The front fender has one small ding on the top. The bike fell over in the trailer during transport when I first bought it and broke the top two fins on the head, it was a light fall it just landed right on the side of the trailer, no other damage done. The bike had a sissy bar on it and rubbed a hole in an other wise perfect original seat. The exhaust are not original they are 341's off a 1972, no rust holes and chrome is in nice shape. I replaced the left handle bar switch and mirror, I have the original switch works but the mirror threads are stripped. It has a clear Ohio title signed and notorized by the previous owner. Also has the original tool kit under the seat. I also replace the rubber footrests rebuilt the front caliper and replaced the front fork boots, I also replaced the stator cover with one that was chromed at one point the chrome is starting to peel on the top. This is not restored nor is it a show piece, but I would consider it a nice clean original rider and the reserve is not set rediculous. I rode the bike about 40 miles without any issues it starts right up and idles perfect at 1000rpm, does not smoke, excellerates smooth with lots of power.
