Up for auction is a highly sought after 1951 Dodge Power wagon civillian cab. The truck has the one ton rating with fully functional factory PTO winch and four wheel drive. The engine is the original flat head six cylinder and is in excellent running condition. The engine starts quickly and purrs quietly. The alternator has been upgraded to the 12 volt system as well as the lights. The heater fan is still the original 6 volt system and would have to be upgraded for the heater to run. (it never was cold enough for me to upgrade the heater fan). The seat is original and has two tears in it. The interior is green with the original tan colored seat. The exterior of the truck is in great condition with a small dent on the lower driver side of the cab. There is some trivial rust in that area of the truck as well where the paint has been chipped. The frame is not bent. The front windshield and door glass has no cracks, there is a small two inch crack around one of the rear window corners. The engine compartment doors open and close easily as well as the fresh air vent on the hood. The bed has deteriorated wood but is still fully functional. The tires only have 100 miles on them and are in near perfect condition, and comes with two spare tires that are in the bed as well as an extra fuel tank that is mounted to the bed. The tires are the original 9.00 R16. I have had the truck garaged for the last nine years and has been taken out to be started and washed. This Power Wagon would make an easy restoration project or left as is being that the current condition is so good. I reserve the right to end the auction early, the vehicle is listed locally as well.
