2003 Freightliner Van same as the Dodge Sprinter. 174'' wheelbase 3/4 model. This van is being sold as repairable but not in running condition. A coolant line burst and the engine overheated. My mechanic's review shows either a blow head gasket or cracked head. This van was used as a daily driver for the past three years and very well maintained. Oil changes within the recommended intervals as well as using synthetic oil. The only major mechanical issue prior to the current condition is the transmission had a lockup gear crack last year. I had the whole transmission rebuilt at that time. The current miles on the transmission since repair is about 50,000. The motor does turn over but will not start. Tires are worn. The exterior shows various signs of surface rust and the plastic cap for the rear bumper is missing on the right side. All in all I was hoping to get another 100,000 miles out of her but the cost to have repaired isn't worth the expense to me.
