Purchased almost new from the original, Beverly Hills owner in 2005 (see history Report) the mature owner is a bank executive living in the affluent OC community of Laguna Niguel CA. For the past 6 years, he and his wife have treated this beautiful 2004 Porsche Cayenne S like their one and only child. Finished in the most desirable color combination; black/black leather interior with navigation, power moonroof and 19” wheels with new Pirellis, this fully loaded Cayenne S is a cut above the rest. Let’s take a closer look now. Exterior: With the exception of one repair made in 2006 on the right side from a parking lot mishap, the finish is 100% factory original. In reality, a clean, original, rust free finish with a few MINOR repairs, chips, scuffs and scratches, is a very rare and highly desirable trait of any collectible Sport Utility Vehicle! In this case, what lies beyond the shiny exterior speaks volumes about the loving care this Cayenne has always received and underscores its Southern California provenance. Surveying the straight and smooth coachwork today, we marvel at how well the finish looks. About 1000 miles ago and at a cost of over $1000, 4 new Pirelli Sport radial tires were installed. Also, the brakes were recently done @ $1150. Two of the 19” alloy wheels show minor curb rash (owner claims his wife couldn't find a curb if it jumped out and bit her!) but they still have amazing detail. Speaking of detail, let us stress how straight the body is, how glossy the paint: if you wouldn't know differently, you'd think to be looking at a 7-month old, not a 7-year old SUV. The floor mats are original Porsche. Everything from the carpet to the headliner appears nearly untouched. Power Moonroof is a factory OPTION Audio and tiptronic controls are conveniently located on the steering wheel and the aluminum trim package nicely complements the black interior. 6-Speed, Tiptronic Automatic transmission with AWD has amazing performance and handling features. The Bose Audio with 6-Disk CD and Navigation systems are both factory OPTIONS. The Bose unit with nearly a dozen speakers guarantees pleasurable audio; even when traveling at speeds well above the double nickel. The full array of factory gauges all work flawlessly. And the miles are mostly highway. The executive owner commuted 20 miles each way on the OC Toll Roads from home to office. Remote locking system includes both keys. (other remote key is not seen in photos but is included) Power mirrors left & right. Everything looks, smells and feels as if the car was delivered yesterday, not 7 years ago. The spacious rear cargo area has pockets everywhere which contain all the important bits… …spare wheel/tire, jack & lug wrench, Owner’s Manual and 6 disk CD changer. Engine & Mechanical: The Porsche's engine compartment is all original, factory-correct, down to the decals and markings. The 4.5 liter, V8 engine has 340 horsepower with power transferred to the ground via Tiptronic, automatic 6-speed, transmission with AWD. Beyond religious oil and fluid changes, thousands of dollars were invested into preventative maintenance; mainly to ancillaries and braking systems in the form of services performed at all recommended intervals.
