SUMMER IS COMING RIGHT UP DON'T MISS OUT ON THE FUN! Up for sale is a 1982 Honda CB450 motorcycle. I purchased this bike some 10 years ago, sold it, and missed it so much that I bought it back 3 years ago just for riding around to work and back. This bike is, in my mind, a terrific bike for a a few reasons. It is well balanced, very maneuverable, reasonably quick to accelerate and quick to stop. The kind of bike that you can easily get used to and enjoy. This is a great motorcycle for commuting to and from work, weekend outings alone or with someone on the back, people learning to ride, and best of all saving money on the rising gas prices. It has, as of last summer, a new battery, rear brake shoes, spark plugs, oil and filter change. The tires are are in good repair, and it starts and runs great! There are a few things that I know about that need attention or should be disclosed. The person I got it from ditched it on a dirt drive and so there are a few dings on the right side of the bike (but nothing functionally broken), the rear brakes are new but should be adjusted up a bit, the chain needs to be cleaned and lubricated, there is a small wiring related issue and that the left side directional (front and rear) illuminate brighter than the right. Saying that the directional s and running lights work fine. There seems to be an oil leak coming from the oil filter housing that could be as simple as a gasket or something.
