Here is one of those rare examples of a car has been sitting un-molested for years in original condition.It was purchased new by a farmer and his wife. After he passed away, it was hit in the passenger quarter panel, and parked ever since. It had 1971 tags on it.The odometer shows just over 44k miles, and there is no evidence to make me believe that this is incorrect. The doors open and close just like they did when new, and the interior still smells like an old car. There is absolutely no mildew or rot smell inside the car. I had planned to restore the car, so I located a quarter panel and had it installed. It was also put on a frame machine and pulled back to correct dimensions. The crash had pushed the sheet metal and the deck lid over about 3/4". I left the repair un-filled and un-primered so that there are no hidden issues. The 389 runs and the car moves under it's own power. As expected, the brakes will need some attention after sitting for so long. The interior is in good original conditions, with a few stains and small tears. I have bought some parts for it, including headlight bezels, stars for the quarter panel, and a horn ring. I also have a tri-power intake and the correct fender emblems if the car is converted as such. I just have WAY too many projects, and this one deserves to find a home. I'll be glad to put it on a lift and get some pics of whatever you wish. There are no secrets with this one. It is as rust-free as you will ever find.
