I'm a certified volvo tech and I am selling a 1990 volvo 240dl station wagon, its a charcoal grey w/ black vinyl interior(normal wear but in good condition), it has a auto trans, manual tinted windows, alpine cassete player, one original owner, non smoker, I received the vehicle from an older couple on a trade and have no space for it i have one to many volvo's(great cars) they are the original owner who serviced the volvo at the dealer and took great care of it, the engine has new alternator, radiatior, coolant hoses, thermostat, new fluids, battery, I replaced the sparkplugs,wires, cap, and rotor and replaced the brakes and 4 new tires. The pic shows a missing front right bumper trim piece but it has been added since pic, I have put 500 miles on the wagon since I received it and it drives straight and smooth engine runs like new very dependable(no oil leaks), transmission shifts smoothly(new atf fluid), no clunks or noises from suspension everything is tight and in propper spec, stops great and quiet exhaust no leaks, turn key ready no mechanical issues. The wagon is missing the third brake light no idea what happened to it its not there.The 240 has lived in illinois its whole life and it was used as a travel wagon for vacations only the other time it sat in there garage wich to me is a waste but whatever (they did own two other 240 sedans so understadable) it has 91,062 miles on it. and since its lived in the salty chicagoland area it does have rust spots here and there wich are seen in the pics but over all the body is clean and has no dents or major scratches no accidents, the worst rust on the car is under the car on the post from the unibody to the outer rocker panels on both sides wich is seen in the pics wich can be repaired if desired (other then that you can see the rest in the pics typical rust spots, the floor pans are clean and solid the tailgate has rust as you can see but im including a rustfree tailgate w/ the sale of the vehicle (tailgate will need to be painted) the car is a 21 year old illinois car so rust is expected its not in mint perfect shape but its not a junker either everything works, its a good daily driver and has plenty of life left for a second owner!!!
