The factory recommends the synthetic oil to be changed every 10,000 miles or every year. The oil's been changed twice since new because the 1 year expired, NOT the miles by less than 50%! We purchased the car brand new and have used it very little. It has always been garaged since new. 10,042 actual miles as of 3-14-2011, but we use it some weekly. Never smoked in. My wife has a big problem with her back and this is the ONLY reason it's for sale. She's more comfortable in an SUV so that's the route we're having to go (No trades please). The c.d. player handles 6 c.d's at a time. Heated seats, Moon Roof, Surius Radio with the premium sound system, electric seat adjustment on both backs of the front seats (top = el; bottom = manual). The seats also have seat height adjustments. The rear seats fold down and make it possible to extend the trunk length if needed by doing so. The diesel turbo/6 speed drive train is the best of 2 worlds = tons of power and unbelievable mileage. We get about 37 - 40 in town and much better on the road.
