I have a 2001 Chevrolet 3500HD utility truck up for auction. This truck is chevy's heavier version of a ton, probably more comparable to an F-450. It has the 6.5 turbo diesel in it and is 2 whell drive. The air conditioning works well. It has an 11' Knapheide service bed on it. This truck has been used on a farm for the last 5 years and has been banged around a little. I tried to include pictures of some of the cosmetic scars on the bed. The front right corner of the bed had been hit by something before I owned it, but still opens and closes fine. On top of the box on the passenger side, there are two steel plates welded to the top where the air compressor was mounted. They were not painted, but could be easily. There are oxygen and accetylene bottle holders welded to the inside of the bed. There is also a place to carry some bars at the rear of the bed. The truck runs and shifts good. The injector pump was replaced 3 years ago which is a common thing on the 6.5. New heads were also put on 2 years ago and that is also a common problem with that motor. The machine shop assured me that the aftermarket heads we put on are much better than the factory and have proved so. The mileage is pretty low for this type of truck. The front needs aligned as it is pulling to the right. This truck needs a few odds and ends but is still a good old truck. It does have nearly new off road grip tires on the back. These are the 19.5 tires and are pretty pricey so that is a plus. Any questions about the truck just feel free to shoot me a message on ebay. Thanks for bidding!!
