I am selling a Florida raised 1985 Jeep CJ7 Renegade 4x4 with 128,800 miles in great condition for a 26 year old Jeep. This Jeep has the 4.2L straight inline six cylinder motor with MOPAR fuel injection (a $3,000 option), four speed manual transmission, Rancho suspension, Air Conditioning, AM/FM/CD with Roll bar speakers, Warn 8000# winch with remote, ARB Air Differential Lockers for both Front and Rear Axles, Dual Optima Batteries with dual charging remote battery switch and emergency start, Dunlop 33" Tires with more than 50% tread, Best Top high back seats. Jeep comes with Hard top, New Best Top soft top with tinted windows and bikini top. I searched a long time to find an all original sheet-metal CJ7 Jeep this clean to do a body off restoration build project to turn this Jeep into a $25k for about 12-15k. I found this Jeep in October while living in Florida. As things turned out we bought a little restaurant in East Tennessee that is taking up all my time and extra money, so I am unable to do the restoration and it only sits at my house in Tennessee. The Jeep is just fine as a daily driver if thats what you want or it is a fantastic base for a rebuild. Since you're looking at this ad you probably understand how hard it is to find a clean almost rust free 26 year old CJ. As for the rust it has a spot on the front of the right rear wheel well, on the right bottom of the windshield and there is a spot coming up on right side of the hood not visible in photos. All these spots are small. I have had a compression check down all cylinders are around 130psi. I have done the timing chain and a tune up. I don't know anything mechanical that it currently needs. It runs good and rides pretty nice and the tires do not produce much road noise. The Jeep is located in East Tennessee between Chattanooga and Knoxville. I have all the books for the Jeep including its original owners manual, Service and restoration manual as well as all receipts of things done by the previous owners.
