I am selling my 1957 Chevy El Camino. I have owned this car for about 20 years and haven't worked on it ten. This is definetly a project car or a great parts car. This was a 1957 Chevy two door wagon. The top is off of a 1957 Ford Ranchero. The majority of the parts are there. I put new quarter panels on in the 90's and most of the body work is done on the doors and front clip. There is a little damage on the passenger side fender and it needs a passanger side rocker panel. I haven't started the car in ten years. I know the carb needs to be rebuilt so hopefully that is all it needs, but I cannot and do not guarantee that. The motor is a 283 with the power pack heads. The camshaft is the same one used in the 1971 Corvettes. It has a 4 speed manual transmission. The leaf springs are new. the brake pads are new, and the brake drums turned. The wheel cylinders need to be replaced. I have several of the interior pieces (not pictured) that have been professionally redone in a light gray color. This car has been garaged since I bought. The tailgate was set into place for the pictures. I have the hinges, but the tailgate is not bolted in. The car has new headers and mufflers. I have included pictures of a door panel and seat. The seats are 60's Mustang buckets. I have the door panels, kick panels, sun visors and seats. I do not have the carpet, headliner or rear panels. The car does not have a rear window.
