This is a 1956 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer Hardtop, (no post) which was the high end for Dodge, this car is a solid 2 owner southern car with 53000 miles.This car comes with 315 v8,dual exhaust, push button Automatic trans, pb, dual rear antennas, tri color paint, It spent all its life in dry storage in Nashville Tn until 2001 and was moved to Mi. where it spent the rest of the time in storage driven very little as a summer weekend car show driver, The car is rust free except 1 small spot behind passenger rear wheel where light bubbling just started. The underneath, floors and frame are in awesome shape with no rust, the trunk including spare tire well is rust free. The car still wears its original tri color paint what you see is what you get nothing hidden,it has its fair share of dings and scratches but no bondo or evidence of any accidents, chrome is in great shape except for the rear bumper it will need to be redone, the die cast is great with lite pitting, the stainless is all there and dent free. The interior is original and showing age, front seat has worn thru spot on driver side, rear seat is worn also, carpet worn also, door panels all in good condition, head liner nice no rips or tears, inside chrome and die cast are nice, gauges work except gas gauge, lights, blinkers, heater, blower all work, tires are newer radials. The motor runs great smokes alittle on start up, trans shifts great, handles awesome very tight for a 55 yr old car, this is car you can drive as is or restore, when your driving this beauty with the big fins, all the chrome, and black white and salmon paint your sure to get attention. and I forgot to mention its a 4 door hardtop no center post, with windows down it looks awesome!
