1971 Honda

. This Honda Mini Trail 50 has had two owners. It was setting in a garage for 24 years. I looked in the tank which looked very clean, dumped some fresh gasoline, opened the carbureter drain until fuel came out, choked it half way, kicked it twice and it purred like a kitten, not a bit of smoke. Now you only have to kick her once and she fires. I know that the popular thing to do is tare it down and repaint, and redo the whole bike but it looks too good to spend the time and money on it. There are no major flaws on this bike. No dents, new weld repairs, and all of the parts are original to this 1971 bike. I had it on my wifes new carpet to take pictures and to take that chance I had to be confident that it had no leaks. The lights, front and back works, bright and dim. The key switch works and has the correct key. Brakes works great. Shifts well. Original BridgestoneTrail wing tires holds air. I didn't want to sell this mini trail with the rear fender having some dents so I had ordered a new one but it was the wrong one but it will fit but just a little shorter. One fork boot was cracked so I have a new one for it. It will go with the sale. There was a better exhaust shield made for this bike as shown in pictures. The original shield with go with the sale. If I can find the manual it also will go with the sale. I will sell this bike to anyone and anywhere. Do not bid if you are not serious. Buyer will put $250.00 down the day of the auction ending. The balance needs to be paid with in 3 days after auction ending. I will not crate this bike. Buyer will arrange for crating and shipping. I will deliver to a local dock. After that I am not responsible. I will deliver for $1.00 per mile. I think UPS crates. You can also arrange for pickup. Please ask questions before bidding.
