I have already contacted Autocheck, as there seems to be an error in which two different dates were transposed back in 1995/1996.If examined it is easy to track the correct chronology.This discrepancy clearly does NOT show on the CARFAX report. No other vehicle can replicate the unique sounds that eminate from this 2.5L SOHC V6. This Alfa whines and roars simultaneously to create the exhilarating feeling of a super-sonic- like energy. The ride is responsive and the handling with the double wishbone suspension allows for a comprehensive driving experience. Overview: Clean carfax with copy available upon request.Vehicle garaged in sunny California.Serviced by Santo's Italian car service.Passed California stringent emissions control requirements and car has current Californian registration. Exterior: 16 inch Ronal wheels.250/50/16 Nitto Neogen tires.Red exterior paint in good shape with luster and sheen, yet does show regular wear incurred by normal driving. Painted bumpers show some peeling.Front driver side fender shows paint bubbling.Some corrosion with quarter sized penetration in wheel well. Newly tinted windows.Interior: Clean with little wear.No rips or tears in seats (vinyl material), driver's side black piping shows small area of wear."Personal" leather steering wheel.Working A/C.Power windows with Alfas famous inclusive mechanical crank for "just - in - case".No dash cracking.Alfa Romeo floor mats.Rear hatch strut/piston is not completely reliable. Replacement could be considered.Mechanical: Mechanic says engine is in good shape.Strong, steady drive with good alligement and handling..Previous owner claimed to have installed a new water pump,new timing belt, tensioner, hoses, new sway bar bushings, new window regulator, new door latch mechanism, new lower ball joints, new steering rack, new wheel bearings, new clutch cylinder, new rear sway bar bushings. Minor leak in rear differential, mechanic says it can wait to be addressed.Not driven often, with only about 800 miles clocked in the last two years. Second gear grind in downshift. Great sounding Steelbro exhaust.Tires are a little wide for this model and there seems to be some rubbing with tight turns.This is not a 100 point car, nonetheless a thrill to drive and will be missed. It is also advertised locally and I reserve the right to terminate the auction at any time. The vehicle is sold "as is" with neither an implied or expressed warranty.
