Up for auction is a 1998 Chevrolet Camaro. 6 Cyl 3.8 L Engine. Automatic Overdrive Transmission. Convertible. 162,227 Miles. The car is currently RUNNING! This car has had 1 owner for the last 11 years. About 7 years ago the car was parked on an incline, not put into park and rolled back into a light pole. Damage can be seen in the pictures. 3 years ago during an Alabama ice storm the car slid into a guardrail while getting on the highway. Other than that this car has not been wrecked and has not broken down. The car was broken into a few years ago, the top was damaged, the radio was stolen. Top was replaced, radio was not. After sliding into the guardrail the car was parked. I have been driving around the small town I live to run daily errands for the past 2 years. I discovered a leak, maybe due to the window not having a good seal on the passenger. I keep a tarp on the car and do not drive it in the rain. A month ago I discovered oil in the radiator, went to have it flushed and the guy advised not doing that because when he pressurized it that would cause damage to where ever the leak was coming from so I took his advise and left it alone. The back window fell out of the top Oct 2010 and I have it intact. The top is automatic and does work. I have listed below everything I know to be wrong with the car. It is a long laundry list but someone with a little time and money could turn this back into the nice car it has always been. Great fix it project or make it a hot rod. Clean/Clear Alabama title.
