Needs to go ASAP! I have decided that it is time to get rid of my Pacer. I don't really have the funds to keep working on this anymore, and I would rather have someone take it in and refinish it rather than me just drive it into the ground. The car is in overall pretty good shape. There is some rust, but a pretty average amount for a car of this age. The car has a little over 150k miles, which isn't too bad. Here is the scoop on the car though...There is a short somewhere in the wiring I have noticed, since the stereo loses power sometimes when using the turn signals. One other thing is recently the car has been idling rough in drive and reverse. Pretty sure there is just a vacuum leak somewhere, since I just had the timing chain replaced and I changed the spark plugs not too long ago. Here are some things that I have done to the car...Full tune up, minus PCV valve a little over 3 months ago. Auto Zone doesn't carry the PCV valve, but you can find them on eBay for about $5. I also changed the alternator, water pump and timing chain around 3 months ago as well. I am also including a new fuel pump for the car. It isn't installed, and the current one works, but sometimes you have to start it twice to get it to stay. You may also want to change the starter soon, since half the time instead of starting it makes a rough squealing sound. The door panels, straps, armrest and cushions are included, but I took them off since I was going to refurb them a little. The car also comes with some nice Cragar wheels as well as Thrush Side Pipes on it as well. This car needs to go ASAP, so please do not bid if you plan on backing out. Pick up only, would be smart to bring a car dolly or trailer for the car, even though it does run, I do not know what the vacuum leak will do on a longer drive. I can deliver, but only up to 30 miles. There is a $250 deposit due within 24 hours of the auctions end and would like the car to be gone ASAP. Thanks and good luck, any questions? Just ask!
