Vehicle Detail

For sale is my prized 50th Anniversary Bonneville, featuring over $3500.00 in accessories. All items added to the bike are either genuine Triumph parts or selected from the offerings of New Bonneville. Only 650 of these great bikes were made for world wide distribution and 160 came to the US. I have been fortunate enough to own 2 of those 160, but a new business and health issues require me to sell one. This was my first one and it has the least miles. I outfitted the second machine for long distance rides, like the Kyle Petty Ride Across America. This machine has only been used in and around Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, and Gainesville, Florida. The bike is perfect in all mechanical and cosmetic areas. I am unaware of any scratches or dents anywhere. In addition to the motorcycle, there is also a limited edition print featuring the original Bonneville in 1959, as well as this replica/anniversary model, and a certificate from the President of Triumph attesting to the authenticity of this very limited edition. I did my best to choose accessory items that would enhance the performance and convenience (center stand, coil/wires/plugs) and beauty (Triumph chrome and leather goods). The fly screen was ordered from England and may be the only one with the factory painted colors and pin striping in the US. The Norman Hyde pipes are a treat. There is also a 3x 50th Anniversary jacket if you can use it. It came with the second bike, which I bought used. The following extra parts are installed and the original seat and silencers are also included in the sale. Chrome Chain Guard $89.99 Engine Bars $169.99 Chrome Grab Rail $219.99 Lifter Arm Cover $49.99 Fly Screen $299.99 Brown City Bags $699.99 Brown Contemporary Seat $299.99 Brown Tank Bag $199.99 Center Stand $239.99 Chrome Master Cylinder Cover $49.95 Chrome Bar End Caps $39.95 Chrome Choke/Fast Idle Knob $24.95 Norman Hyde Toga Silencers $549.95 Oil Temperature Guage $94.95 Tool Free Side Cover Bolts $19.95 Nology High Performance Coil $75.95 Nology Hotwire Plug Wires $72.00 Iridium Spark Plugs $19.95 Self Modulating Tail Light Bulb $59.95 Limited Edition Print $299.95 $3,577.41 I was 16 when the first Bonneville was introduced and could not even come close to affording one. Over the years I have owned over 200 motorcycles and for some reason never bought a Triumph. When this bike was announced, I had to have it. Fifty years after the original, I could afford one and the beauty of the classic style and colors was too much for me. I had to have it. I was stunned at how well it does everything, something Peter Egan mentioned in his article about the Bonnevilles. I sold all of the other machines I had (3 at that time) and ended up with two of these. Not the fastest. Not the biggest. No bottle heaters or knife sharpeners.....just a great bike to ride. One thing it does better than all the other machines I have owned, which has included several expensive and highly respected bikes......it gets nods and thumbs up like a magnet. It is hard to gas up without answering questions. If you are an introvert.....look for something else. One thing I must tell you.....the sound is like music. The Norman Hyde Toga Silencers look so much more like the ones from the 50's and 60's than the ones that come with the bike. Even more so, the stock ones make the bike sound like a sewing machine. The Norman Hydes make it sound like a Bonneville. If you want the best looking best equipped Bonneville for sale.....get this one. With the brown seat, tank bag, and city bags, it is a real Gentlemans Express. If you have questions, email me at redmondson@nascar.com, or call at 386-341-3905. While this is a no reserve auction, I will accept a Buy It Now of $12500.00. I am confident that the bike will bring a fair price and that is all either I or the buyer can ask for.
