Vehicle Detail

This is a 1966 Mustang I purchased from the original owner. The car needs to be used as a parts car. It can be restored but the inner fender where the VIN is stamped was replaced early in is life due to an accident. They guy that fixed it took an original 1965 inner fender off of another Mustang and used it. It has the 65 VIN stamped on the inner fender (see Pictures). The 65 VIN is: 5F07C708915. The door tag matches the title: VIN: 6F07C719281 Body: 65A Color: Y7 Trim: 26A Date: 21G DSO: 21 Axle: 6 Trans: 6 The Mustang has its original 289 V8 with 2 barrel carb (never has been out of the car). Options are: A/C P/S A/T Seat Belt warning light. The dash is excellent (never has been cut!)The hood is good as well as few other body parts. NO RESERVE!On Mar-02-11 at 07:56:54 PST, seller added the following information: I have taken a lot more pictures of the car, under the car, in the trunk, interior and under the hood. If you would like to see them send my your email address and I will send them to you. After closer inspection I have found the following: The doors, fenders, hood, trunk lid, grill, bumpers, moldings, valances, and frame rails are all GOOD! The car will need a cowl, floor boards, quarter panel bottom patches, and some patching in the trunk. My email is: chad@coastapparel.com my cell is: 864-884-4078.On Mar-04-11 at 07:47:52 PST, seller added the following information: I just added a picture of the VIN stamped on the passengers side fender apron. This is the one you can find if you unbolt the fender and pull it back. This VIN (6F07C719281) matches the VIN on the title and the door tag! So either the drivers side apron where the VIN is stamped was replaced or miss stamped. I can not tell where the apron was replaced because the original spot welds on the radiator support are all still there and it does not appear that the rad support was replaced. I did not realize that I could post more pics so I am going to do that now.On Mar-07-11 at 10:20:41 PST, seller added the following information: THE ENGINE IS FREE. I TURNED IT TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT. I DID NOT TRY TO TURN IT OVER (BY HAND) INCASE A VALVE MIGHT BE STUCK AND WOULD HIT THE PISTON AND CAUSE DAMAGE.
