Up for auction is a 1968 Triumph Bonneville. Having recently undergone a complete restoration, this machine has been refurbished to nut and bolt factory specifications. This is a matching Engine/Frame numbers model, Gas tank has been painted in Scarlet/Silver, Frame was Powder Coated. Oil tank, Side cover, Chain Guard, and Headlight brackets were painted Black with Clear coat. All hardware has been cad plated. Engine covers and aluminum parts have been polished and buffed. After complete dis-assembly each part was inspected and replaced if deemed necessary all parts were replaced with New Old Stock where possible. Engine has been completely overhauled. Sludge Trap on, new Main Bearings, Rod Bearings, Standard Pistons, Valves & Guides, Seals, O Rings and Gaskets, Gearbox Main Shaft and Layshaft Bearings, High Gear Bush as well as all other Seals, Everything that was not in mint condition was replaced. Equipped with the original Amal Concentric Carburetors. Original Dunlop Rims with NOS British Dunlop Gold Seal K70's. New cloth wrapped wiring harness with a Boyer Electronic Ignition System. The original points system was replaced for better performance and reliability. Lucas Headlight, Ammeter, Brake light cover and Switch, Smiths Speedometer and Tachometer were overhauled. New stock handlebars. and new cables were installed. Brand new seat. New fork tubes as well as bushings seals and gaiters. Front and rear brakes were overhauled and new wheel bearings installed. All rubber parts have been replaced. Since these pictures were taken original Lucas, under Gas Tank reflectors, have been installed. This motorcycle has only a few miles since restoration to check functions. A normal break in and re torque will apply. I have sold several Motorcycles on eBay and have used U Ship on a few occasions with great success and great savings. I will help coordinate all shipping arrangements.
