1989 Honda 250R

I'm selling my 1989 Honda TRX 250R. It still has the original plastic with new OEM Honda stickers. I'm the second owner and have owned it for the past 10 years. It has been trail-ridden its whole life and never raced. The compression is low. It will turn over and run weakly, but it's time for its first top end rebuild. I'm selling it as "not running" even though it technically is. You can come see it if you like and you can kick it over to verify it isn't locked up. The headlight works, there is no tail light. There are no known cracks or bends in the frame or A-arms (or anywhere else). It has never been flipped, wrecked or run into anything as long as I've owned it. It drives straight and the steering is good. Aftermarket parts: DG grab bars, skid plate and brushguards ITP Holeshot tires Boyesen reeds and reed cage K&N filter, prefilter and airbox rings Lonestar double row axle bearings and carrier FMF pipe and silencer Emergency brake blockoff plate and CR250 brake lever (to remove the E-brake mechanism) Other parts that can go with it if you like: 2 or 3 stock wheels and tires Stock brake lever and E-brake mechanism White plastic shields for the brushguards (ugly but they keep your hands warm!) I will not accept Paypal for this auction. I would prefer the winning bidder to come pick it up in person, but it can be shipped. If you choose to ship it, you are responsible for arranging shipping and paying shipping costs. If you choose to pick it up in person bring cash. If you're shipping it send a cashiers check or money order for the purchase price. The quad is also listed for sale locally, so if it sells locally before reserve is met on eBay I will cancel the auction. Once reserve is met it goes to the highest bidder on eBay.
