Belvidere Police Seizure Auction The Belvidere (Illinois) Police Department is auctioning another seized vehicle. This vehicle was seized from one of our local drug dealers. It is a 1995 GMC Yukon 4 door. This vehicle has been completely tricked out. It was used as a parade vehicle by our department. We will attempt to list the after market work that was done to this vehicle. Understand though we are not car experts. Sooo, we will try our best to accurately describe this vehicle. There are 24 inch Cooper tires ZEON XST Cooper 305/35R24. The rims are 24 inch EVO weld racing. There is an aftermarket stereo in the dash. It is a Pioneer CD/DVD player. There is a DVD player in the backseat it is a CONCEPT DVD player. The entire cargo area in the back of the vehicle is a custom made speaker system. There are Audiobahn speakers and Audiobahn amps. The entire speaker system is powered by a marine Optima battery. The outside of the vehicle has shaved door handles. The doors are opened by the remote on the key chain. There is also a hidden switch to open the vehicle as well. There are also scoops on the hood of the car that are aftermarket. The are beginning to seperate from the hood. (see photos) The exhaust is custom also. It has a louder exhaust than normal. The vehicle has been driven by our department. It has had an oil leak. We have not had problems with it driving. The only issues we had with it were that the battery would drain. We believe it to be from all of the aftermarket electronics. This will need to be addressed by the new owner. There was also an issue of mice getting into the vehicle. They were removed and the vehicle was cleaned and detailed. There does not appear to be any electrical issues from the mice. There was a nest in the glove compartment. The title is clear and in our possession. The transaction would be the same as any other private owner sale. Please ask all questions before bidding. All applicable state and local laws were followed with the sale of this vehicle. All of the proceeds from this auction will be used to fight the war on drugs in our community.
