Click to enlarge Exterior: The new Beetle convertible carries on the classic Beetle look into the modern age very well and looks great finished in its Factory "Gecko Green" metallic paint. The car is in excellent shape and only has a minor ding and a couple places where touch up paint has been applied. As you can see from the detailed photos the car does look great!!! The 17 inch alloy wheels that come in the "Package 2" option package look great and are in perfect shape with no curb rash. The car is also riding on BRAND NEW TIRES!!! The convertible top is also in good shape with typical wear in the normal places for a Beetle convertible. The power top does function perfectly as do all the lights turn signals etc...Overall this great looking Beetle Convertible is in very good shape!! Click to enlarge Interior: The beautiful tan Leather interior is in excellent shape. The seats are free of rips, tears and stains. The heated seats are a "must have" on a convertible and these variable strength seat heaters work great!!! The Monsoon stereo system sounds great and its nice to have the option of adding a satellite radio subscription (car is equipped with satellite radio, you will just need to add a subscription). The car also comes with all of the original owners manuals. The car also comes with an easy to remove wind deflector. This wind deflector is easy to put in place and is utilized to reduce wind/drafts inside the vehicle when the top is down. When you need the back seat, it neatly folds up and fits into its own carrying case and can be placed in the trunk. Click to enlarge Engine: The 2.5L 5 cylinder engine revs smoothly and has plenty of power. The car runs on 87 octane fuel which will save you some money at the pump and the peppy engine gets over just over 30mpg!!! The smooth shifting 5-speed goes in and out of gear with ease and the clutch is in great shape and is easy to modulate making it easy and pleasurable for even a novice manual transmission driver. These little bugs handle really well and have 4 wheel disc brakes along with ABS brakes to help avoid any trouble. Due to there construction the Beetle scores top marks in safety tests making it one of the safest vehicles to drive on the road despite its smaller size. A traction control system also aides in stability and traction management. As I mentioned before everything works perfectly on this car. The radio, wipers, all lights and signals, A/C, heater etc... all work perfectly. The car has a brand new set of tires and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
