This is a very nice Bug Eye Sprite! The engine has less than 250 miles since being rebuilt and blue printed by a qualified British engine builder who has rebuilt British engines for years. It is very dependable and LOTS of FUN! As you can see it has a beautiful red paint job. The stripe is not a "sticker" but actually painted and has the same deep clear coat as the rest of the car. The car has a 1275 cc engine and Weber carburetor. It starts great and runs strong! You can easily keep up and pass interstate traffic. The handling is superb. There is a chrome luggage rack that attaches to the rear deck for those extras that you take along to the car shows. This is a fair weather car and hasn't been in rain or inclement weather. All gauges, windshield wipers, heater, horn, etc., works great and has been totally gone through. The front brakes have been converted to discs. The front and rear suspension has less than 250 miles on it. Brakes and master/slave cylinder are new. All the wiring has been replaced with new. I have owned and raced Austin Healeys for over a decade and I've done what I feel is necessary to have a great little Bug Eye that you can depend on. The areas that I have not addressed are: small tear in drivers seat, scuff mark on back of drivers seat, paint run on back bottom near where the license plate goes (actually have to get under car to see it), three small paint bubbles on bottom drivers side pillar. I have a tonneau but no top. I do have the frame for a top. I have side curtains but not the plexiglas. I have lowered the reserve from my first offering. I'm not dying or anything, just motivated. We will also assist with your transport pickup. The car is to be picked up within 30 days. Additional storage charges will be made after 30 days of $25 per day.
