Vehicle Detail

1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe 2 door Body The chassis is a 1989 Dodge Dakota with brand new tires and brakes The steering is factory Dakota rack and pinion The Master cylinder is brand new The Floor is all brand new 16 gauge including the trunk The firewall is all brand new 16 gauge The rocker panels are all rust free The only rust is on the front fenders, doghouse, and the rear fenders All of the structural parts of the car are solid as a rock, I wanted this thing to look like a rough rust bucket from the outside with a solid core. The motor and transmission are 1964 Polyshpere 318 and 727 torqueflite with 87,000 miles. The transmission is a dual cable setup and I have a pushbutton shifter and floor mount shifter both for it. I have put a lot of work into the car to make it a solid driver but there is still a long list of things that need done. The good news is you won't have to buy a single part for this car. I have everything for it. Good: All the parts are here to finish the car. All the door latches, handles, trunk, work perfectly. All the glass is perfect. Windows roll up and down, wing windows turn and lock. Clear title in my hand. Modern chassis, power brakes, rack and pinion, new tires. Still need to do the following: Shorten driveshaft. You can do it yourself in about 2 hours or pay a driveline shop $50. Install freeze plugs in the motor, I removed them because they were thin and seeping. Reinstall the tail lights and wire up the car. Bolt the seats in. Install the gas tank. Mount the shifter (of choice) and throttle pedal and cable. Finish some welds that are just tacked on the doghouse and body mounts. Finish fabbing radiator mount. Bolt the hood back on. Fabricate bumper mounts. I still have the original wheels and tires and hubcaps as well. Contact Eric at 513-509-2088 with any questions.
