Hi, up for auction is a very clean 1969 Volkswagen Black Beetle. This has been a Northern California car it's entire life and still the original black California plate on car since it was new!! The Beetle runs and looks great, and has been regularly serviced and tuned by a professional shop specializing in these early classic VW Beetles. I have a ton of documentation and receipts that will go with the car. The motor which is the 1600cc dual port and the transmission have been rebuilt approximately 12,000 miles ago. The car has only logged 86,300 miles on the odometer and I believe these to be original miles for the car. All new window rubber, carpet, and headliner are new. Complete new brakes all the way around done last year, and it stops really well. Brand new wheels and tires. "Iron Cross" wheels really set it off with the black wheel and fully polished lip, the black and chrome go really well together. The Beetle also has chrome nerf bar bumper's. Everything on this Beetle works, horn, wipers, even the interior dome light works....the original AM radio is moody and works when it wants to!! The car is currently registered thru July of this year and I have the clean, clear California title in hand. The Beetle get the thumbs up ever time it's driven, the black paint is beautiful. The Beetle can be a Sunday cruiser or a daily driver, the Beetle is daily driver reliable. The bug is solid and strong but does have the usual battery box rust issue as well as a bit on the passenger front floor pan, this is minor and again extremely common in these classic beetle's and easily repaired. The battery box does have a steel plate in place that serves well. The structure is solid as is the rockers, see photos. The Beetle is a great little car and is a blast to drive.
