You are bidding on a 1936 International Pick Up truck that has been stored in the garage for the last 30 plus years. The truck is all-original as far as I can tell. It is in very solid shape and rust is only on the surface. The odometer reads 46,562 and judging from how good of shape it is in, I have to guess that it is correct. The floorboards are solid, the transmission shift smoothly and there are minor dings and several surface scratchers on the exterior. Unsure if this is the original paint, and as you can see from the pictures it is flaking off. I tried to take as detailed pictures as possible so you can see for yourself. I do not know a lot about this truck, but do know that you would have to look hard to find one this solid. It appears to be complete, minus the inlet bracket for the radiator into the block (see picture). From what I know of this super cool truck, it was used on an orchard from 1936 to 1970's, where my grandfather purchased it. He drove it around town but mostly it was parked in the garage. I did try and start the truck about 3 months ago, and the motor did NOT turn over. The truck is being sold AS IS with no warranty and buyer must arrange for it to be picked up as I have no means to transport it. Also, I reserve the right to pull the truck off eBay at any time for any reason prior to the reserve price being met. I really was hoping to keep this truck as part of my collection as it is in such great condition but I don't have enough time. Whoever wins this bid will have a very solid project truck. ALSO, IT HAS ONE SPARE TIRE THAT IS INCLUDED. THERE ARE PICTURES WITH IT ON AND OFF THE SIDE OF THE TRUCK. On Feb-17-11 at 19:00:43 PST, seller added the following information: I have had an abundance of emails regarding this truck and it sounds like it will go to a good home. To summarize some of the questions: The hood is not dented, however it looks like the bolt holding the hood brace is missing, so in the one picture the hood looks like it is popped up. The wheel base on the truck from center rim rear to center rim front is 135" and width is 60" The brakes appear to me to be mechnical Please email me with any additional questions.
