Vehicle Detail
REDUCED MY "BUY IT NOW" AND MY RESERVE BY $350.00! Up for sale is my 1996 dodge dakota slt extended cab. The truck is a 4x4 and also has a 318 v8 in it. It is a very reliable truck. The reason for selling it is that i bought a diesel pickup and dont need the two trucks. The dakota has ONLY 71,350 original miles. I dont drive the truck very often (mainly when it snows) It has a little agressive tread on the new tires which makes it very easy to drive in the snow. I recently had the truck inspected, its good until December of 2011. The interior is clean with no stains or cracked dash (dodge problem). There are small cracks on the side of the drivers seat but nothing real bad (see pics). The paint is shiny and has some normal dings for a truck this age. This truck would make a great first truck or a work truck or just a winter ride. I have many new parts on the truck including: 4 new tires plugs and wires cap and rotor coil rear bumper battery brakes all the way around including rear hardware now for the bad: The truck has a small hole in the muffler somewhere, its not that loud (it still passed inspection and emmissions) The cracks on the side of the drivers seat as mentioned above (see pic) The lower plastic front valalance is cracked on the driverside (they are on ebay for 70.00 free shipping) (see pic) If the truck isnt warmed up in the winter it will sputter for a second when you first start driving it, then it doesnt do it again the rest of the day. It will sometimes put the check engine light on then it will go off on its own. Ive had the code read by a garage and it says multiple cylinder misfire. If its warm out the truck doesnt do it at all or if the truck is warmed up in the winter. I dont know why it does it but its been doing it every winter for years, it in no way effects the trucks drivability or performance. It might be a minor fix for someone who tinkers with cars alot. Come drive the truck and check it out for yourself. I want to be honest as possible during the sale. Thats all the problems I know about. Ive described the truck to the best of my abilities. I have listed the truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. The truck has a free and clear title, but I lost the original title and applied for a new one before listing it for sale. The notary said it will take a week or two to have a new one mailed to my house. I do not expect to be paid in full until I have the new title in hand. $500.00 deposit due at the end of auction thru paypal and the rest in cash, in person when you come to test drive and pick up the truck.
