I am selling my dream car -- the 2008 M5 Black Sapphire Metallic with Tan interior. The car is in GREAT condition, except for some minor scratches and chips from flying rocks. I bought this car just 8 months ago from a gentleman who was moving to So Cal and needed to sell off some of his vehicles to fit in his new garage. The car has been amazing and I now have many jealous friends who drive Porsches and Mercedes. In fact these same people tell me the M5 is the fastest car they have driven. So here is why I have to part with my baby....The car drives like a race car...lots of hp...and muscle. And if you've ever rocketed onto the freeway in an M5...you know what I mean! The wife, who does not enjoy driving or being a passenger in a V10 507HP Supercar...has put her foot down after the second speeding ticket. And to top it off my young daughters tell me they don't feel so good driving in daddy's car. So long story short...the car needs to go for something more practical. Garaged and well maintained at local BMW dealership. Car checked out perfectly when I bought it, but dealer replaced 20 hydraulic lifters and double VANOS, stating that BMW recommends replacing these with newer parts. Cost me nothing, but did notice the car shifted much smoother. Car does not have tire pressure monitors because of the custom wheels (so little yellow light on dashboard stays on...never bothered me) 35,000 miles and still under full maintenance and service warranty until August 2011 Originally stickered at $99,000 I set a low reserve, so you can get a great deal on buying the car.
