This is my 1968 chevy long box pickup. It has never been restored and looks to be same motor and same trans that belongs to the truck. It has been in my family since the mid 90s...always maintainted mechanically. The 327 motor has been extremely reliable whatever the conditions. A very easy starting motor and an excellent runner...it sounds great and has a snappy throttle response. The original wood in bed is still there but in weathered condition...I have put a piece of plywood over it. It has a great body..the only rust issues are the cab corners(bubbling) and the rockers (where they meet the floor pan, nothing visible from outside). The floor itself is solid. It was repainted once before I bought it..the paint is faded now. It is a very simple and clean 43 year old truck, i cant say enough about how well it runs. I do not drive this truck anymore due to a 69 chevy I now have. I have noticed a small oil dot under where it sits....I believe it to be cause it has not been used latlely, for it has never leak anything in the past. It does not burn oil and it does not blow smoke at anytime. It can be any excellent daily driver or an excellent candidate for a restore. I'll answer any questions through ebay in a timely manner and if you are in the area and want to look at it, that wont be a problem. (there are no speakers in the truck....radio lights up when turned on) It is a 2 wheel drive truck. The starting bid is filthy cheap for this truck!! rearend 4.56 gears brakes drums front and back and brake booster tires are 4 years old or so but have 95% + tread on them. I would guess less than 3000 miles 4 speed manual trans Winning buyer pays shipping if they wish to have it shipped There now are pics of the cab corners...you can see in one pic that there now is a small hole. If one was to fix all rust issues one cab kit from Ecklers item number 131695 ($219) would be more than enough to rid rust issues
