1986 Honda z50rd christmas spec

I have a unmolested all original 1986 z50rd that is in excellent restorable condition.I picked up this bike from the original owner who got it for christmas in 1986 and rode it for part of one year until he stored it and it would not run the next spring due to the carb being clogged up.He took the air filter snorkel off and sprayed carb cleaner down the throat of the carb thinking it would unclog the jets and never to be used again.It is missing the air filter snorkel and air filter plus the spark plug,everything else is there.I dont think the chain has ever been adjusted or the oil has been changed.The fenders are not perfect but you can still get them brand new honda(last time I checked on ebay they were 120 per set) and the air snorkel and air filter are very cheap and available also.This would be a great bike for someone who wants to restore a original bike that has not been messed with(no surprises).If you want it to run and that will help you make your decision to buy it then I will clean the carb and get a plug and I am sure it will run as it cranks fine and has spark.The reason I am leaving it alone is for the restorer that wants everything possible to stay untouched and un tinkered with.
