Vehicle Detail
I took more pictures for those who were interested. Honestly, these pictures do not do this car justice. You really have to see this vehicle in person to really capture just how nice it is. If any of you are on the fence here then I urge you to come take a look at it. You will not be dissapointed and you do not know what your missing. You will never see an El Camino like this for sale again. Im sorry about the water spots here and there. I rolled it out of the garage and hosed it down and wiped it down. Missed a few spots. They will wipe away easily. There is no defects in the paint from hard water or anything else. Hopefully these latest pictures will help show you the kind of vehicle were talking about here. BTW, all lamps rubber trim is brand new OEM. For those of you that know El Caminos you know that the left front turn signal lamp is non existent. I searched the country and found one of maybe a handfull left that were new in the box. All screws were polished, all stainless trim was polished and all aluminum trim was chromed. It now has adjustable coil over suspension and adjustable gas shocks. There are many many other things that were done to this vehicle to make it "perfect" that I will share with whoever wants to take a look at it. Thank you for looking. This is probably the most extensively restored El Camino ever done. I haved been an El Camino fan for many years and have been to many car shows. You will never find one this nice and I dont care where you go, paint quality does not get better than this. I have spent $100,000 on this vehicle and have receipts for most of that. I also did much of the work myself and it would cost $200K to have a vehicle built just like it. I have $20K into the paint. I took the body down to bare metal and had the jams blasted. Then DP sealer and the best materials were used throughout the paint process. The vehicle is finished with Dupont Super Jet Black. All trim, lamps, weatherstriping is brand new factory original. I cannot list all the custom things that were done here but will answer any questions as this goes along. No money was spared here. I had a complete custom brake syatem made with 15" crossdrilled 2pc rotors and 4 piston willwood Calipers. Matching front to rear. Custom Chip Foose wheels made for the offsets required. Custom tubular suspension, custom built Corvette LS1 motor, custom 700R4 trans and built rear end with locker. Custom driveline (polished aluminum) the bottom of the vehicle looks the same. Custom aftermarket A/C under the dash, got rid of the big plastic box under the hood, lots of shaved lamps etc on body, custom interior, the list goes on. I will post some High Res photos if this gets any action. There is a catch, the car isnt finished. Good and bad, it has never been driven but still needs exhaust from the headers back, headlamps wired up, brakelines and master cylinder, and a a/c condensor. You can get the best of the best of these items installed for $10K. This car can easily sell for $100k at the right auction. I cannot afford to finish it. Im losing LOTS of money here but I need the cash. I will take detailed high res pics of any areas of the vehicle you guys ask for. There is lots of special areas done like the jams, wheel wells, front clip etc. These are just some photos I had on my phone. Just say the word.
