Hi, up for auction is a 1964 Volkswagen Beetle. The Beetle has only logged 109,197 miles on the odometer. The body and interior are in excellent condition as seen in the pictures. The color of the exterior is Red Pearl Metallic, the color actually changes when the sun hits it in certain lights. There are some examples with the pictures I have taken. The body is straight, solid and clean. There are not any stone or rock chips on the front hood and front fenders, the paint is glistening in the sun. The pan is also solid and clean with no rust what so ever... Even the battery box is clean. The Beetle runs great with a rebuilt 1600cc motor, dual 34 ICT Webers with cross bar linkage, degree pulley, Bosch 009 Distibutor, Bosch blue coil, chrome engine tin, chrome firewall, 12 volt alternator, chrome 36hp fan shroud, Bugpack Header with Bugpack quiet pack muffler. Oil changed every 3 thousand miles. Newer tires wrapped around fully polished 5 spoke Empi wheels. Complete new brake job including all new wheels cylinders, master cylinder, and brake shoes, this 'ol Beetle stops on a dime. The Beetle has a very Retro-Classic look to it with a very nice stance and sound to it. Even the interior dome light works. The Beetle has all new window rubber seals, new fender beading, weather stripping, tail light seals, etc. All the Beetle's interior matches, front seats, rear seat and door panels are all matching and color coded with the same material. The front and rear seat have a VW logo embroidered in the backs of the seats, and are a nice touch. The Beetle has extremely clean bumpers with overriders , and a set of ol school Rossi headlights. Turn signals, headlights both high and low beam work as does the parking lights, interior light and the brake lights. The Beetle is cool and clean and makes for a awesome little cruiser getting great MPG at the same time. Who needs a Prius when you could be driving this.
