This car has only had one owner since new. It was originally purchased from Alderson BMW in Lubbock, Texas (the original license plate frame is included) with 21 miles on it by a Clinical Psychologist in Lubbock who is now in his early 70's. He recently traded the car back in at Alderson BMW for a brand new one. All service was done at Alderson BMW and most of the service records are on the Carfax. I have several service records in addition to what Carfax shows. Here are the service records I have (the total invoice/customer pay cost is also listed, but some items were covered under warranty): 3/12/2003 at 21,789 miles: New windshield wiper blades, engine belts, and engine air filter ($252.12) 1/5/2005 at 26,717 miles: Oil changed, coolant flushed, new turn signal bulb, new power steering pump ($149.90) 5/11/2006 at 30,344 miles: New power steering pump and power steering hoses ($397.95) 6/21/2007 at 31,944 miles: New windshield wiper blades, new left front turn signal bulb and bulb socket, new spark plugs, new fuel filter, oil changed, new engine belts ($596.95) 3/4/2008 at 33,065 miles: New cylinder head (with new bolts, head gasket, and all associated parts), coolant flushed, new power steering hose ($5,627.04) According to Carfax, the last time Alderson BMW serviced the car was January of 2009, so I had my mechanic go over everything very thoroughly. Here is what he serviced: Four-Wheel Computer Alignment, Tires Balanced, (2) New Oxygen (O2) Sensors, Oil Change, New Spark Plugs, New Climate Control Unit, New Driver's Door Weatherstripping, New Passenger Exterior Mirror Glass, (2) New Power Adjustment Gears for Driver's Seat, All Carbon Cleaned from Mass Air Flow Sensor, Throttle Body, and Intake Manifold "What else can you tell me about the car?" As you can tell from the mileage, this car has spent more of its life sitting in the previous owner's garage rather than being driven, so between my mechanic and I we've put over 500 miles on it to make sure everything is working properly. It drives beautifully and is very tight. The engine is extremely powerful (as you would expect) and the transmission shifts perfectly. The engine does not tick or smoke, nor does the car have any leaks. All weatherstripping and trim are also in excellent condition. "What imperfections does the car have?" - As you may note from the Carfax, this car was in a small accident on 5/4/2009 involving some damage to the left rear. This damage was repaired properly and all panels on the car appear to be original with their correct VIN tags. Upon very close inspection, it appears the previous owner probably had a couple other very minor "fender benders" since there is also very slight evidence of some previous paint work on a couple of other exterior panels. However, the work was done very well (as you can tell from the pictures), and the car shows extremely well. - Being 13 years old, it does have a few tiny rock chips and a couple very light scratches. There is a small crack in the windshield at the very bottom on the passenger side (so low it can't be seen from inside the car), as well as a very small chip at the very bottom on the driver's side (both are pictured). I can have a new windshield installed for $110 if the buyer prefers - I just couldn't bring myself to do it since the original warning stickers are still at the very top of the inside of the windshield. The wheels have some light curb rash on the outer edge. It looks like the previous owner pulled up too close over a parking stop at some point (at least once), which broke the plastic clips for the plastic underpanel and brake ducts in the front bumper. These three items can be purchased from PelicanParts.com for around $30 each. - The driver's floor mat is missing and the glove box door sags very slightly when latched. The front door panels show some very slight leather wear on the armrest area, but the leather seats and all other upholstery is excellent with no tears or stains.
