Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1999 Dodge Dakota Truck. This truck came equipped with a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine and a 5 speed manual transmission, which are both included in this auction. The engine is junk thou, it has a cracked block, however the 5 speed manual transmission was in good working order when the engine failed. The truck has approximately 160,000 miles total on it. I do have a good title for this vehicle. The truck has a custom two tone Silver fading to Black (Base Coat / Clear Coat) Paint Job with Metal Flake (see close up pics). This is a very sharp truck and when cleaned up it really shines and glitters due to the Metal Flake Paint Job. Body and Paint is 95% perfect; meaning there may be a very small ding or scuff mark here or there, it’s been setting in the garage for about a year now. The truck has dual Lund Hood Scoops and a reflective Fox Racing Sticker on the back window. The truck also has an aftermarket Chrome Grill and tinted windows on the sides and rear glass. The tires are around 50% tread with factory aluminum rims. The truck also comes equipped with a tow receiver hitch and bed liner. The rear passenger tail light lens just got broke when pushing the truck out of the garage to take pictures. This truck was originally a Florida truck and the body of the truck is rust free, however the rear bumper does have some rust bubbles starting to come thru on it down around the ball hitch. The interior is also in pretty good shape, the only damage is the latch for the glove box which is broke. Lastly the truck has a Pioneer Super Tuner III CD Player installed. I purchased this truck as a project with plans of doing a V8 conversion and creating one cool low rider. I got as far as removing the engine and transmission and purchasing (2) different engines for it but never got around to installing one. I first bought a performance rebuilt 1972 Dodge Truck 360 with headers and a 727 Auto Transmission (Minus Carb and Intake, guy would not sell them with engine, both were Edlebrocks) which had less than 9,000 miles on them (receipts to prove rebuild). After I purchased that engine, I stumbled across a 1978 440 Big Block with a 727 Auto Transmission out of a motor home. I thought that it would be even cooler having a Big Block Mopar Low Rider, so I purchased that engine and disassembled it and did a complete inspection with plans of a rebuild, however that’s about as far as I got with it. It is still setting on the work bench in pieces; from the inspection everything looks fine for reassembly. I am just mentioning about the engines because if the highest bidder is interested they are for sale also (They are not included in this auction thou). I just do not have the time to finish this project and with 2 young kids even if I did complete it; it would not be very practical. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to come see this truck in person. HAPPY BIDDING!!!
