Hello and welcome to the Auction! The item up for bids is a very nice example, first year, and early production 1969 Triumph TR6. This one was manufactured in late 1968 as a 69' model for the all new TR6! This car is fitted with a strong Inline 6 cylinders engine coupled with a 4 - Speed Manual transmission PLUS an Electric overdrive on 4th Gear making it a 5 Speed total. As an option at the time this TR6 is factory equipped with center lock, spin-off wire wheels; a definite must for any British Sports car. This TR6 is in great fully driving condition, it is not a concourse winner but is in much better condition than the average daily driver. It is in very good mechanical shape. The engine runs like a clock, and starts on the first crank everytime. It has a brand new interior, only a few months old. A completely rust free body and structure, originally a California Car. You can jump in and go anywhere, the engine starts right away. All the chrome bits on the car are factory original. Most of it is in very good condition, some minor pitting on the rear bumper bar. Comes with a matching black full tonneau cover. This is a very desirable TR6 as it is a very early production first year car with nice extra features as the Overdrive Transmission and Factory Wire Wheels.
