This is very common with this style of Chevy. The door still closes tight and the lock works well. 2) When my mechanic tuned the truck before it was garaged, he recommended I replace the water pump at some point. Since then I have ordered a new one which also goes with the truck. The current water pump is still functioning but it will need to be changed before prolonged driving.
