LOW FLYING BIRD This is one awesome Fire Bird! It's a 1968 with Red Exterior and a Black Vinyl Top complete with Black interior. The car has a fresh LS2 6.0 liter engine complete with computer and chipped up to handle all of the engines performance parts. It is equipped with a Borg Warner T-56 6 speed transmission and a Stage 3 clutch and pressure plate. The car has a heavy duty 10 bolt GM positraction rear-end that has just had all new 4:10 gears installed by a certified GM Good-wrench dealer. The car drives straight, handles well and rides smooth. It is a great cruising car and gets decent gas mileage in 6th gear, but has all it takes to kick ass on the street or strip. The headers with 3" exhaust pipes and mufflers have a very mellow, throaty sound while the cam and heads give it a wicked lick. The car is clean and the paint is good with only a few road chips in it. This car is a driver--it is not show car perfect--but it is good. The car has a new Black Vinyl Top and all new Black interior. The original dash has been replaced with a Carbon Fiber dash with all new analog gauges and a custom steering wheel. The fire wall has been smoothed and is ready for a Vintage AC/Heat unit to be installed for pleasure but not necessary. All body parts are good and free of rust; the floor and trunk pans are clean and have had a few small spots patched, the rest of the car is clean and straight. The car is very fast and has been built to be driven on the street, strip or go fast from one traffic light to another. The 6 speed transmission allows you to use the 4:10 gears to get out of the hole and still cruse at 65 to 70 mph at low rpm. All felts and rubbers were repaired and the glass no longer rubs but there are the two marks in the glass. Also, the LS2 motor is an iron block motor, it was not a Corvette engine, it does have Patriot Aluminum Heads and all of the performance parts listed above and is very fast.
