ANTIQUE 1936 DODGE 1/2 TON PICKUP This truck was last registered in 1957 in Texas and sat in a barn until last year. Make no mistake. This is not a hodge podge bunch of pieces cobbled together over the years to get it close to complete and original. It is all pretty much exactly as found in Texas with no alterations of any type. Orignal flat six,3 speed, 6volt. Has the original gauges as well. Original 16" Artillary wheels. This is in my own opinion the best looking and driving 1/2 ton pickup of the 30's and 40's. It sets much lower than my 1937 Chevy and really drives more like a sedan than a truck. Easy to steer and really fun to drive. A real favorite here in town and I'm sure it will be in yours as well. I had it painted and transported to me here in Utah. Since then I have had the Gas tank cleaned and new fuel line run. Fuel pump rebuilt,Carburator rebuilt,replaced the points,distributer cap,condensor,plugs,plug wires, battery cable,master cylinder rebuilt,and two wheel cylinders,brake rubber hoses replaced,etc. She runs, drives, and stops. An excellent investment!. Great for parades or advertising outside your shop. This truck has had no rust repairs at all and is solid as can be. You will not be disappointed. Still a few minor things to do like rewire the headlights and install windshield rubber. I have the rubber but have not got around to putting it on. Has a rock chip in the windshield that should be repaired. The seat is from another truck but I have the original seat frame and springs. It will need some repair and reupholstered. I will put that in the back when it is picked up. Tires have lots of tread but are weather cracked but okay for putting around town. Lower portion of grill is tweeked but can be straightened out and section for crank is missing. Also could use new window channel. Now I about have myself talked into keeping it! Always tough to part with these classics but need the funds and the room for the next project! Reserve is set at what I have in it less time of coarse. Email with questions or concerns. A real stickler and tight as hell so if he made an offer like that I'm sure it is worth more.Just keep in mind this is an all original truck that has not been tampered with in any way other than the Paint,tune up,and brake work.
