1956 Pontiac Safari Wagon(Pontiac version of Chevy Nomad).Original Numbers Matching 317 Cubic Inch V8, Hydramatic Trans. new hoses and belts, recently rebuilt power steering pump and power brake unit.New brake drums,New wheel cylinders and hoses.Completely rebuilt rear end with new bearings and seals and New leaf springs.The body is very good with excellent stainless trim. Older paint job with a couple of chips and a scratch. Interior is in very good except for hole in headliner above driver sunvisor. Has some bubbles along drip rail (typical),should be easy fix(see photo) . Good 15 " tires.Not a show car but a nice cruiser that gets a lot of attention. THIS IS A RARE CAR. The above was writtin by the person i bought the car from last year on e-bay so i don't know much more than that about it. Need space for other projects , need to sell so my loss is your gain. It does run & drive , other seller didn't list a hole drivers side floor that has amature repair. yes it has a 1955 hood orniment that lights up, it came to me that way.
