This 1966 Ford Fairlane 500 black plate California car was purported to be one of the cars used in the Dragnet police series in the 1960's, although we have done no research to verify this claim, it looks legit and is great fun for the money! Mechanically this car is safe and sound, she looks the part completely with revolving cherry on roof, Motorola 2 way radio in the car ( not currently working), signed script,movie poster, etc. This is a great show car, halloween car or whatever, take a chance and buy her!On Jan-21-11 at 14:09:33 PST, seller added the following information: So, it has now come to our attention that this could not have been used in any Dragnet show, ever so please disregard the reference to this being possible. The car has been pointed out to be a 1967 model year as well so 1 year newer than expected! I hope whoever has interest will see the fun factor and enjoy this car as it was meant to be when built. It appears she was on EBay a few years back, built as a clone and described as such, happy bidding and thank you for your interest.
