Vehicle Detail
PLEASE READ THE WHOLE ADD BEFORE BIDDING! This is a 1987 T-Top Mustang GT 5 speed. This car is all stock. 127,000mi. This Mustang has had recent work completed to it. New water pump, New timing chain cover, New radiator, Fresh tune up, New plugs, New wires, New cap, New rotor, New ignition coil,New ignition module, New cooling fan,New fan cluch. This is a list of things the mustang needs. Needs a new steering rack, it is leaking. It needs a new battery . Needs a new battery tray, right now its rigged up just sitting in there strapped in place with bungee cords. Needs a new heater core it is bypassed so there is no heat. It does leak very a small amount of oil from the valve cover gaskets. The body for the most part is solid. The bottom of the drivers door could use some attention it is shown in the pics. The hatchback could be replaced it too is shown in the pics. The car has been repainted and its not the best paint job in the world but it looks ok. THIS CAR IS NOT A SHOW CAR IT DOES NEED WORK. The interior is in ok shape. It is not show quility i tried to take pictures of the blemishes. The only seatbelt that works is the drivers seat belt. THE 5.0 runs very strong no knocks or tics. The car shifts good. The transmission does grind into reverse. But if you slide it into 5th first it does not grind. The T-Tops may leak i do not know i havent had it in the rain. But I do know I took it through the power car wash and i had about 4 drips. So I would imagine if it were in rain they would be fine. This car does run and dive. It has a clear title. This car would make a very good project Mustang. You dont see to many of these T-Top cars still running around.
