This great-looking driver has been owned by me for the last 4 years(I am the 3rd owner). The vehicle has always been garaged and it is in superb condition for a 36 yr old car. To the best of my knowledge, it had one repaint prior to my owning it. This car was disasembled in a heated garage during the winter of 2009-10 for some serious updates. The interior was completely redone; door panels, carpet, steering wheel, sun visors, etc. The brake system was completely redone, as well as the dual exhaust system. The radiator and radiator support were replaced. The fan clutch was removed and a high capacity electric fan was installed. The front sway bar bushings were upgraded and a new sway bar was added to the rear. All 4 shocks were replaced with AC Delco gas shocks. The actual color of the interior is Oxblood...not red. The rear tires were replaced with a size larger than original, and all 4 wheels were media blasted and repainted gray. There is a replacement radio with the "Corvette" faceplate. The t-tops are in great condition and do NOT leak. The motor is the original L-48 350, with an aluminum intake and Edelbrock performer 4-bbl carb. This corvette has been changed to an HEI ignition with 8mm wires. We also replaced the power steering components. After the car was reassembled, the paint was buffed out and it shines like new. Remember, this was the 1st year for 2 rubber bumpers. Also, this was the last year before catalytic converters and the last year for true dual exhaust. It has a 3.36 posi unit and it pulls real strong. If you are looking for a nice "driver", you can't go wrong with this car or the price. Happy bidding.
