Here is a 69 Mercury Cougar Convertible It is currently White but was originally yellow. It has a very nice for its age original Fawn interior. It has a 351 Cleveland with an Automatic Transmission , factory Air Conditioning , Power Steering , Power Disc Brakes , Power Top , and Console. The carpet is bad and it is missing the AC compressor. The dash pad and seats are in nice shape. The body is structurally solid with minor rust in the lower door corners and lower rear quarter panels as shown in the pictures. The floor pans , torque boxes and frame rails look to be straight and extremely solid - even the front strut rod brackes look nice. There is a dent in the lower front valence and one in the drivers door that I tried to show in the pics. This is a very solid 2 owner car that was just pulled out of a 17 year storage. I have drained the gas tank, blew out the fuel lines and put a new fuel pump on it and it fired right up. I have only driven it around the driveway and garage and would sugest a thorough examination of the brakes , belts and hoses , fluid changes, etc. before driving it on the street .
