OUTSTANDING VALUE...FUN RIDE This car drives today! REBUILT ENGINE -REBUILT CARBURETOR - RECENT BRAKES and more. A great fun project. I am selling it with NO RESERVE in order to pay taxes. WINNING BIDDER MUST SEND $1000 VIA PAYPAL WITHIN 12 HOURS OF THE END OF AUCTION WITH THE BALANCE BY CERT. CHECK WITHIN 5 DAYS. This is a very rare and special Custom Classics edition by FiberFab 1953 MGTD Reproduction. Classics built this car in their factory in Minnesota with custom 2 x 2 box steel frame with all interior finished and carpeted. It was styled to fit the General Motors Chevette chassis. It has a completely rebuilt 1983 Chevette 1.6 liter Engine including a brand new rebuilt carburetor, water pump and timing chain. (all less than 120 miles on them). All new (5ea) Tires, with new wire wheels (the wheels have some rust on the wires). New Battery. New head light chrome shells (not mounted-still in boxes). New rolled and pleated seat covers designed specifically for this car, with matching door interior. MG simulated hub knock offs. New rear wheel bearings. New authentic tail light lenses with chrome frame. Custom 14” wood steering wheel. New chrome hood strip New chrome dash handle New chrome license bracket. Authentic looking mirrors and parking lights. Custom tonneau cover. Soft top with collapsible frame. New brake job. This model was a frame up factory build car in Minneapolis Minnesota. (early 1980s I think). .Most of the time it has been in Florida. It drives nice and tight and is fast and reliable. The vehicle uses an automatic transmission, and seat belts are installed. There are some minor problems that I am aware of. They consist of one weak headlight and rear back-up lights that don’t work,The wiper motor did work but doesn't right now. I have not traced any wiring. The body has one or two minor chips. The soft top requires some sewing. The steering column has a rub sound, but doesn’t effect steering. None of these items would keep you from driving it today.I drive it about twice a month just to keep everything in motion.I use only non-ethanol fuel to keep water build-up because I drive it so seldom. I have tried to describe this vehicle as honestly as possible: of course you are buying it “as is” due to the nature of the project. I have it licensed in Florida as a 1983 MG/ Chevette reproduction and use an antique license plate. I do have it for sale locally and retain the right to end the auction early if it sells locally. I have over $7000 invested in this project, but the tax man commeth... Enjoy bidding.
